Your Impact

  • Contribute to our expanding international corporate financial services tax team in Zurich, with a specific focus on M&A and restructuring.
  • Provide proactive tax expertise to a diverse portfolio of clients, primarily in private equity and real estate, advising on international tax implications related to mergers, acquisitions, and restructurings.
  • Lead the management and coordination of multi-country M&A and restructuring projects, including tax due diligence, tax structuring, SPA review, tax modeling, and post-completion tax advisory services, leveraging the support of associates and senior associates.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop the financial services, private equity, and real estate practices to strengthen client relationships, expand the client base, and diversify service offerings.

Your Skill Set

  • A master's degree or an above-average bachelor's degree in business administration, economics, or law, with a focus on tax/international tax; an LLM in international tax is an asset.
  • At least 4 years of relevant experience in taxation and M&A-related tax matters in an international context, with experience in private equity or real estate considered a plus.
  • Proven ability to manage and coordinate multi-country tax projects.
  • Experience in leading and coaching a team of senior associates/associates on complex tax projects.
  • Demonstrated flexibility, persistence, and an openness to challenging situations, coupled with a team-oriented and customer-focused personality and excellent communication skills.
  • A strong affinity for numbers, models, and evaluations, alongside an understanding of underlying legal issues.
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills; proficiency in German and/or additional languages is a plus.
