Your Impact

  • Be a part of our expanding international corporate financial services tax team in Zurich, with a specific focus on M&A and restructuring.
  • Proactively offer tax expertise to a diverse client portfolio, primarily composed of private equity and real estate clients, providing guidance on international tax implications related to mergers, acquisitions, and restructurings.
  • Lead the management and coordination of multi-country M&A and restructuring projects, which include tax due diligence, tax structuring, SPA review, tax modeling, and post-completion tax advisory services, leveraging the support of associates and senior associates.
  • Collaborate with the team to enhance the financial services, private equity, and real estate practice, strengthen client relationships, expand the client base, and diversify the service offerings.

Your Skill Set

  • A master's degree or an above-average bachelor's degree in business administration, economics, or law, with a focus on tax/international tax; an LLM in international tax would be considered an asset.
  • At least 4 years of relevant experience in taxation and M&A-related tax matters in an international environment. Experience with private equity or real estate clients is a plus.
  • Experience in managing and coordinating multi-country tax projects is essential.
  • The ability to lead and mentor a team of senior associates/associates on complex tax projects.
  • A flexible, persistent, and open-minded approach to challenging and complex situations, complemented by a team-oriented and customer-focused personality with excellent communication skills.
  • A strong aptitude for numbers, modeling, evaluations, and the underlying legal issues at the intersection of economics and law.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English is required; knowledge of German or additional languages is an advantage.
