Your Impact

  • Become a key member of our expanding international corporate financial services tax team in Zurich, with a specific focus on mergers & acquisitions (M&A) and restructuring.
  • Provide proactive tax expertise to a diverse portfolio of clients, primarily in the private equity and real estate sectors, offering advice on international tax implications related to mergers, acquisitions, and restructurings.
  • Lead and manage multi-country M&A and restructuring projects, which include tax due diligence, tax structuring, SPA review, tax modeling, and post-completion tax advisory services, leveraging the support of associates and senior associates.
  • Collaborate with your team to enhance the financial services, private equity, and real estate practice, strengthening client relationships, expanding the client base, and diversifying our service offerings.

Your Skill Set

  • A master's degree or a top-tier bachelor's degree in business administration, economics, or law, with a focus on tax or international tax. An LLM in international tax would be considered an asset.
  • A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in taxation and M&A-related tax matters within an international context. Experience with private equity or real estate clients is a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing and coordinating multi-country tax projects.
  • Proven ability to lead and mentor a team of senior associates and associates on complex tax projects.
  • A flexible, persistent, and adaptable personality, open to challenging situations with a team and customer-oriented approach and excellent communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with an ability to navigate the interface between economics and law, along with a flair for numbers, modeling, evaluations, and the underlying legal issues.
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills; proficiency in German and/or additional languages is an added advantage.
