Your Impact

Work within our expanding international corporate financial services tax team in Zurich, with a specific focus on M&A and restructuring.

Proactively provide tax expertise to a diverse client portfolio, primarily consisting of private equity and real estate clients, particularly on international tax implications related to mergers, acquisitions, and restructurings.

Lead and coordinate multi-country M&A and restructuring projects, encompassing tax due diligence, tax structuring, SPA review, tax modeling, and post-completion tax advisory services, leveraging support from associates and senior associates.

Collaborate with the team to develop the financial services, private equity, and real estate practices, strengthening client relationships while broadening the client base and diversifying our service offerings.
Your Skill Set

A master’s degree or an above-average bachelor’s degree in business administration, economics, or law, with a specialization in tax or international tax; an LLM in international tax is a valuable asset.

At least 4 years of relevant experience in taxation and M&A-related tax matters within an international context. Experience with private equity or real estate clients is an advantage.

Demonstrated experience in managing and coordinating multi-country tax projects, with the ability to lead and coach a team of senior associates and associates on complex tax initiatives.

A flexible, persistent, and customer-oriented personality, adept at navigating challenging and complex situations, coupled with excellent communication skills.

A strong analytical mindset, combining a flair for numbers, models, evaluations, and an understanding of the underlying legal issues at the interface of economics and law.

Proficient written and spoken English skills; proficiency in German and/or additional languages is a plus.
