Your Impact

  • Become a vital member of our expanding international corporate financial services tax team in Zurich, with a specific focus on M&A and restructuring.
  • Proactively provide tax expertise to a diverse portfolio of clients, primarily in private equity and real estate, advising on the international tax implications related to mergers, acquisitions, and restructurings.
  • Lead and coordinate multi-country M&A and restructuring projects, which include tax due diligence, tax structuring, SPA reviews, tax modeling, and post-completion tax advisory services, leveraging support from associates and senior associates.
  • Collaborate with the team to enhance the financial services, private equity, and real estate practice, strengthening client relationships, expanding the client base, and diversifying the service offering.

Your Skill Set

  • A master's degree or an above-average bachelor’s degree in business administration, economics, or law, with a focus on tax or international tax; an LLM in international tax is an asset.
  • At least 4 years of relevant experience in taxation and M&A-related tax matters within an international context. Experience with private equity or real estate clients is advantageous.
  • Experienced in managing and coordinating multi-country tax projects.
  • Able to lead and coach a team of senior associates and associates on complex tax projects.
  • Flexible, persistent, and open to challenging situations; possess a team-oriented and customer-focused personality with excellent communication skills.
  • Have a strong aptitude for numbers, models, evaluations, and the underlying legal issues at the intersection of economics and law.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English; proficiency in German and/or additional languages is a plus.
