Your Impact

  • Become an integral part of our expanding international corporate financial services tax team in Zurich, with a particular focus on M&A and restructuring.
  • Proactively offer tax expertise to a varied client portfolio, primarily consisting of private equity and real estate clients, while addressing international tax implications related to mergers, acquisitions, and restructurings.
  • Lead and coordinate multi-country M&A and restructuring projects, including tax due diligence, tax structuring, SPA reviews, tax modeling, and post-completion tax advisory services, leveraging the support of associates and senior associates.
  • Collaborate with the team to enhance the financial services, private equity, and real estate practices, aiming to strengthen client relationships, expand the client base, and diversify service offerings.

Your Skill Set

  • A master's degree or an above-average bachelor’s degree in business administration, economics, or law. A specialization in tax or international tax is preferred; an LLM in international tax would be an asset.
  • At least 4 years of relevant experience in taxation and M&A-related tax matters in an international context. Experience with private equity or real estate clients is advantageous.
  • Proven experience in managing and coordinating multi-country tax projects.
  • Ability to lead and mentor a team of senior associates and associates on complex tax projects.
  • A flexible, persistent mindset, open to tackling challenging and complex situations, complemented by a team-oriented and customer-focused personality with excellent communication skills.
  • A strong affinity for numbers, modeling, and evaluations, as well as for the underlying legal issues at the intersection of economics and law.
  • Proficient written and spoken English skills; proficiency in German and/or additional languages is a plus.
