Your Impact
- Become a vital member of our expanding international corporate financial services tax team in Zurich, with a specific focus on M&A and restructuring.
- Proactively provide tax expertise for a varied client portfolio, primarily consisting of private equity and real estate clients, advising on international tax implications related to mergers, acquisitions, and restructurings.
- Lead and coordinate multi-country M&A and restructuring projects, which include tax due diligence, tax structuring, SPA review, tax modeling, and post-completion tax advisory services, leveraging the support of associates and senior associates.
- Collaborate with the team to enhance the financial services, private equity, and real estate practice, strengthening client relationships, expanding the client base, and diversifying our service offerings.
Your Skill Set
- A master's degree or a high-performing bachelor's degree in business administration, economics, or law, with a focus on tax or international tax; an LLM in international tax is a plus.
- At least 4 years of relevant experience in taxation and M&A-related tax matters within an international environment; experience with private equity or real estate clients is a valuable asset.
- Proven experience in managing and coordinating multi-country tax projects.
- Ability to lead and mentor a team of senior associates and associates on complex tax projects.
- Flexible, persistent, and open to dealing with challenging and complex situations, coupled with a team-oriented and client-focused personality, complemented by excellent communication skills.
- At the intersection of economics and law, you possess a keen aptitude for numbers, models, evaluations, and the underlying legal issues.
- Fluent in written and spoken English; proficiency in German and/or additional languages is a plus.
