From day one, you'll take ownership of your clients, supporting them in the realization of their projects. You'll gain firsthand experience, participate in meetings, and handle client communications to ensure smooth project execution. The M&A Tax Team advises both local and international corporate clients, along with prominent private equity firms, on cross-border transactions, real estate deals, tax structuring, M&A activities, and restructuring projects from a global tax perspective.

Our work provides diverse insights through close collaboration with our Transaction Services teams and various international Deloitte member firms. This interdisciplinary approach empowers you to effectively shape and advance your career.

How You Can Make an Impact

  • Engage in M&A deals with direct client interaction from day one, assuming responsibility for cross-divisional projects and communication across various industries and sectors.
  • Leverage your strengths alongside our team to advise clients on complex tax matters during M&A transactions. Coordinate multiple workstreams and oversee internal project management to deliver comprehensive, value-added outcomes.

Who We Are Looking For

  • A positive and solution-oriented attitude, with a willingness to take on responsibility and find solutions across diverse M&A transactions for various clients.
  • A flair for numbers and taxes, the ability to work accurately and effectively under pressure, and a capability to prioritize workload while expanding knowledge.
  • An interest in the intersection between business administration and law.
  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a university or university of applied sciences in law, business administration, or a related field, preferably with tax knowledge.
  • Confidence in communicating in German and English; additional languages are a plus.
