Join our dynamic Swiss M&A Tax team and help our clients successfully manage global challenges. You will engage with diverse clients across various industries on complex taxation and related legal matters, contributing to their M&A deals and transformations from day one.

As a valued member of our team, you will take ownership of your clients from the outset, supporting them throughout their projects, participating in meetings, and managing client communication to ensure the smooth execution of each project. The M&A Tax Team provides advisory services to both local and international corporate clients, as well as leading private equity firms involved in cross-border transactions and restructuring projects, all viewed through a global tax lens.

This role offers a unique opportunity to gain insights through close collaboration with our Transaction Services teams and various international Deloitte member firms, empowering you to shape and advance your career effectively.

How You Can Make an Impact

  • Engage directly with clients on M&A deals from your first day, taking responsibility for cross-divisional projects and communication across diverse industries.
  • Advise clients on complex tax matters during M&A transactions, coordinating multiple workstreams and overseeing internal project management to deliver value-added outcomes.

  • Benefit from the necessary time and financial assistance for professional development, including training to become a certified tax expert (eidg. dipl. Steuerexperte) or pursuing advanced studies like MAS FH in Swiss and International Taxation / LL.M. Swiss and International Taxation.

Who We Are Looking For

  • A positive and solution-oriented attitude, with a willingness to take responsibility and tackle diverse M&A transactions for various clients.
  • A flair for numbers and an understanding of taxes, with the ability to work accurately and effectively under pressure while prioritizing workloads.
  • Interest in the intersection between business administration and law.
  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a university or university of applied sciences in law, business administration, or a related field, ideally with tax knowledge.
  • Fluency in German and English; additional languages are an advantage.
