You will work for a variety of clients across diverse industries on complex taxation issues and related accounting and legal questions, contributing to their M&A deals and transformation.

From day one, you will take ownership of your clients, assisting them in the realization of their projects. Gain hands-on experience, participate in meetings, and handle client communication to ensure smooth project execution.

The M&A Tax Team advises both local and international corporate clients, as well as prominent private equity firms, on cross-border transactions, real estate deals, tax structuring, M&A activities, and restructuring projects from a global tax perspective.

Our work provides you with diverse insights through close collaboration with our Transaction Services teams and various international Deloitte member firms. This interdisciplinary approach will empower you to effectively shape and advance your career.

How You Can Make an Impact

  • Engage in M&A deals with direct client interaction from day one, taking responsibility for cross-divisional projects and communication across various industries.
  • Leverage your strengths alongside our team to advise clients on complex tax matters during M&A transactions. Coordinate multiple workstreams and oversee internal project management to deliver comprehensive, value-added outcomes.

Who We Are Looking For

  • A positive and solution-oriented attitude with a willingness to take on responsibility and find solutions in diverse M&A transactions.
  • A flair for numbers and taxes, demonstrating the ability to work accurately and effectively under pressure.
  • An interest in the intersection of business administration and law.
  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in law, business administration, or a similar field, ideally with tax knowledge.
  • Confident communication in German and English; additional languages are an advantage.
