JOIN OUR TEAM AS A SYSTEMS ENGINEER
We are currently seeking a Systems Engineer for our Biotech business. In this role, you will:
- Develop and maintain requirements and system architecture for our devices, considering the full system life cycle.
- Contribute to verification and validation processes.
- Act as a crucial interface between various stakeholders, including management, quality assurance, project management, and technical disciplines such as software, mechatronics, fluidics, electronics, bioprocessing/analytics, and mechanics.
- Create necessary technical documentation and negotiate solutions.
- Develop and contribute to modeling our systems.
- Coordinate and manage individual projects or sub-projects and serve as a system integrator.
- Analyze risks, hazards, and improvement ideas while incorporating applicable standards into the design workflow.
- Support business development by monitoring relevant R&D activities and contribute to the program strategy.
YOUR PROFILE
- Engineering degree (ETH/FH or equivalent) in systems engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or microtechnology.
- Experience in developing complex system or subsystem requirements, concepts, and specifications, including performance, safety, maintainability, and reliability.
- Adept at grasping and communicating complex interrelationships in a solution-oriented and analytical manner.
- Ability to pragmatically adapt new systems engineering approaches to project needs.
- Familiarity with standardized systems engineering methodologies and the V-model systems development lifecycle.
- Capability to work effectively under pressure and in high-visibility environments, thriving in collaborative and agile teamwork.
- Knowledge of regulations or standards such as ISO 12100, IEC 61010-1, and IEC 61326 is advantageous.
- Experience with PLM, MBSE, or requirements management tools, as well as coding skills, are a plus.
- Over 4 years of professional experience as a development engineer or systems engineer in multidisciplinary projects, preferably in highly regulated industries.
- Team player comfortable working closely with others.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of German is a plus.
