Join Our Team as a SYSTEMS ENGINEER
As we continue our journey of sustainable innovation and growth, we are seeking a passionate and skilled Systems Engineer for our Biotech business. In this role, you will:
- Develop and maintain requirements and system architecture for our devices, considering the entire system life cycle.
- Contribute to verification and validation processes.
- Act as a critical interface among various stakeholders, including management, quality assurance, project management, and technical domains such as software, mechatronics, fluidics, electronics, bioprocess/analytics, and mechanics.
- Create essential technical documentation and negotiate effective solutions.
- Develop and contribute to the modeling of our systems.
- Coordinate and manage individual projects or sub-projects as a system integrator.
- Analyze risks, hazards, improvement ideas, and applicable standards, integrating them into the design workflow.
- Support business development by monitoring relevant R&D activities and aiding in the formulation of program strategies.
YOUR PROFILE
- You hold an engineering degree (ETH/FH or equivalent) in a relevant field, specializing in systems engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or microtechnology.
- You are adept at developing complex system/subsystem requirements, concepts, and specifications focusing on performance, safety, maintainability, and reliability.
- You possess a keen ability to understand and illustrate complex interrelationships, and you are an independent, solution-oriented, analytical team player with strong communication skills tailored to diverse audiences.
- You are capable of pragmatically adapting and introducing new systems engineering approaches to meet project needs.
- You have familiarity with standardized systems engineering methodologies and experience in the V-model systems development lifecycle.
- You thrive under pressure, are comfortable with high visibility towards senior management, and excel in collaborative and agile environments amidst uncertainty and engineering changes.
- Knowledge of regulations or standards such as ISO 12100, IEC 61010-1, and IEC 61326 is a plus.
- Experience with PLM, MBSE, or requirements management tools, along with coding skills, is an advantage.
- You bring more than 4 years of professional experience as a development engineer or systems engineer on multidisciplinary projects, preferably in highly regulated industries. Additional experience as a project manager is beneficial.
- You are a team player comfortable with collaborating closely with many individuals.
- You are fluent in English; German language skills are an asset.
