Role and Responsibility

  • Enhance and develop drone avionics, including electrical wiring, sensors, avionics boxes, battery, and power management.
  • Create technical drawings, wiring diagrams, specifications, configurations, and settings.
  • Test components and sub-systems with a focus on electrical components and systems.
  • Support the testing of the complete drone system.
  • Conduct root cause problem solving.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation.
  • Assemble electrical components and systems for testing.
  • Manage suppliers of avionics components and systems.
  • Take responsibility for system design.
  • Contribute to the improvement of SwissDrones processes and procedures.

Your Profile

  • Strong technical education, such as an apprenticeship as an aircraft electronic technician or equivalent.
  • Higher education is a plus, for example, in electrical engineering, avionics engineering, or systems engineering.
  • Over 3 years of relevant working experience in the avionics and electronics field.
  • Proficiency in one of the major CAD programs for electronics.
  • Experience in electrical design, manufacturing, assembly, and testing.
  • Background in high-quality and safety-critical environments such as aviation, automotive, pharmaceuticals, or medical devices.
  • Familiarity with software integration, configuration, programming, or software development is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic and growing company.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Commitment to enhancing company procedures and processes.
  • Team player mentality.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • Experience with M365 applications (SharePoint, Outlook, Teams).
  • A strong "can-do" and "will-do" attitude.
