Job Description
You will work where complex systems, software, and customer requirements intersect. As a System Engineer Customer Solutions, you will bring systems into operation worldwide, analyze issues down to the root cause, and translate customer needs into robust, practical solutions. This role is ideal for engineers who take ownership, delve deep technically, and strive to create a visible impact.
What You Will Be Doing
- Commission systems: supporting installation teams and customers during system commissioning and handover.
- Solve technical issues: analyzing and resolving software and hardware problems, both internally and on customer sites.
- Translate requirements: specifying customer-specific system and software requirements and collaborating closely with product management.
- Ensure quality: testing and qualifying system software and new system components.
- Structure knowledge: maintaining technical system documentation and coordinating technical topics across service, engineering, and product management.
What You Should Bring
- Technical background: a technical education or degree (HF, FH, ETH or equivalent) in system engineering, mechatronics, electrical engineering, or a related field.
- Industry experience: experience in vacuum technology, semiconductor industry, or equipment engineering is an advantage.
- Hands-on mindset: ability to work independently, solution-oriented, and stay focused even in complex situations.
- Communication skills: clear and confident communication with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Languages & mobility: fluent in English and German, with a willingness to travel approximately 10% worldwide.
