The Kartaus-Münchhalde Day School

Located in Seefeld and part of the Zurichberg school district, the Kartaus-Münchhalde day school features a total of 20 classes from kindergarten through sixth grade. Approximately 450 children are spread across our two neighboring school buildings. Since the summer of 2019, we have been operating as a day school with an extensive care program. Our team is dedicated and well-connected, fostering a supportive environment for our students.

We are currently seeking additional support starting October 1, 2025.

Responsibilities

• Support children with special needs in various ISR settings for 27.5 hours each school week (Monday to Friday), along with 30 annual flat-rate hours, for a fixed term of one year, with potential for further employment thereafter.
• Accompany ISR children in everyday activities and learning according to their support plan.
• Assist children during activities, lessons, and school breaks.
• Ensure participation in the class group, maintaining close communication with the class teacher, therapeutic specialists, and the case-leading special needs educator (SHP).
• Observe and provide reports to the SHP and class teacher.

Profile

• Experience and enjoyment in working with students with special needs.
• Willingness to work in a multidisciplinary team.
• Experience with support plans and learning reports is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills with students and adults.
• Experience in the field of disability care (children and youth) is a plus.
