Job Description
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting supply chain sustainability, ESG data management, and regulatory compliance activities within a global supply chain organization. Your efforts will ensure accurate reporting, robust due diligence, and alignment with evolving sustainability regulations. Reporting to the Supply Chain Sustainability & Compliance Manager, you will contribute to both operational execution and strategic sustainability initiatives, collaborating closely with internal stakeholders and senior management on high-visibility projects.
Your Responsibilities
- Support value chain sustainability reporting, disclosure, due diligence, as well as internal and external audits.
- Assist with supplier sustainability and ESG data collection, management, and analysis, including carbon emissions data for internal and external reporting.
- Monitor environmental, sustainability, and supply chain regulatory developments and support compliance implementation.
- Assist with material compliance and due diligence processes across the supply chain.
- Contribute to strategic sustainability initiatives, including Scope 3 (purchased goods) carbon footprint and decarbonization efforts.
- Support the development and implementation of sustainability processes, tools, and governance frameworks.
- Prepare analyses, reports, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage and respond to customer sustainability requests by coordinating input across Business Lines, R&D, Supply Chain, Operations, and Legal to ensure accurate and consistent responses.
Your Background
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Sustainability, Law, Business Administration, or a related field; a genuine interest in the topic is a prerequisite.
- 1-3 years of experience in sustainability and environmental topics, ESG reporting, or another relevant field.
- Practical experience or a strong interest in carbon accounting (especially Scope 3) is highly desired.
- Knowledge of key ESG regulatory frameworks and disclosures (e.g., CSRD, CSDDD).
- Strong organizational, analytical, and quantitative skills with confidence working with data and assumptions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint) is required.
- Clear communication skills, with the ability to explain analyses to non-experts.
- Structured, proactive, and adaptable, with the ability to perform effectively in a high-importance role within a dynamic and fast-changing environment.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus.
