Supply Chain Coordinator

The Supply Chain Coordinator serves as a pivotal interface between global sales organizations, distributors, and management centers, while also collaborating with internal and external suppliers. This role is vital in ensuring a seamless process regarding order and invoice flow.
Please note this role is for the Diabetes Care branch in Basel.

Tasks & Responsibilities
- Ensure smooth, timely, and accurate order processing by entering sales orders into SAP according to defined specifications, while considering shipping schedules, credit limits, and master data. Actively monitor data transmission (iDocs monitoring) and work on reports.
- Perform virtual goods receipt and virtual goods issuance as required.
- Prepare and collect all relevant export documents, ensuring timely and correct provision to customers and logistics providers.
- Release sales invoices to accounting in accordance with ICFR guidelines.
- Manage issues and discrepancies by initiating necessary steps and corrective actions, involving relevant stakeholders. Enter claims in the claim tool and investigate process issues.
- Issue credit and debit notes considering month-end and year-end financial timelines, and collect necessary approvals.
- Maintain customer master sheets, ensuring accuracy and initiating changes when needed.
- Exchange information with various stakeholders (internal & external) via emails and video calls in English and/or German and/or French.
Must Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, customer service, or related fields.
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar position with proven success.
- Advanced knowledge of SAP (SD/MM), MS Office, and Google Suite.
- Excellent communication skills in English (verbal & written); proficiency in German and French is a strong asset.
- Customer-oriented mindset with the ability to prioritize and achieve results.
- Strong action and solution-oriented approach with a proactive, can-do attitude.
- Structured, process-focused thinking with great attention to detail.
- Supportive team player who actively contributes to the team’s success.
Nice to Haves
- Previous experience with Roche is a plus.
