Job Title: Supply and Inventory Planner

In this role, you will be pivotal in Supply and Inventory Planning within the Medium & Low Speed Division at Accelleron Switzerland AG. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure an optimal balance between demand and supply while maintaining efficient inventory levels. You will play a crucial role in identifying and mitigating supply risks to enhance overall operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect and analyze data to generate a comprehensive supply plan, establishing and leading rough-cut capacity planning linked to the demand plan for both short- and long-term objectives.
  • Perform deep-dive analyses to identify capacity constraints, proposing both immediate and long-term solutions in collaboration with production teams to remove potential bottlenecks.
  • Identify potential supply chain risks and disruptions, contributing to the development of contingency plans.
  • Determine the impact of the supply plan on expected inventory levels, monitoring and coordinating inventory optimization actions to prevent shortages or excess stock.
  • Coordinate and track progress with the Production Team and category management for outsourcing initiatives, collaborating with external vendors to optimize capacity and ensure material availability.
  • Generate reports on supply and demand data, inventory levels, and overall supply chain performance for management review.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing supply chain efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Your Background:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A Project Management certification or equivalent is advantageous.
  • Proven experience (8+ years) in S&OP demand, supply, and inventory planning, or similar roles within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify patterns, develop creative solutions, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
  • Experience working with supply chain management software and advanced proficiency in Power BI and Microsoft Excel, including building complex data models from various sources.
  • Understanding of market trends and the financial impacts of supply chain operations, with a proven track record of implementing best practices.
  • Adaptability to changing circumstances and priorities.
