Your Mission
Support the Supply Chain Department for the selection, evaluation, and qualification of suppliers.
Supervise and direct Supplier Qualification for all relevant quality aspects.
Act as the main interface for Engineering, Operations, and Procurement for all supplier quality topics.
Perform First Article Inspections (FAI) to ensure products meet the drawings and specifications.
Lead Supplier Non-Conformance and failure investigation whenever product and/or process requirements are violated.
Conduct supplier audits and drive improvement initiatives.
Work continually with strategic suppliers to enhance performance and implement process controls and quality standards.
Analyze supplier capabilities and develop and maintain supplier quality metrics.
Main Tasks
Execute the Supplier Quality Assurance Program in accordance with Project Milestones.
Convert Customer Critical to Quality Requirements into supplier specifications and requirements.
Lead and/or support the Non-Conformance Management process at suppliers.
Lead and/or support the Supplier Critical Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and investigation activities.
Moderate Supplier Process FMEA sessions.
Support Process and Product Qualification at Suppliers, ensuring close engagement with M&P and Design Engineering.
Lead Supplier Audits.
Contribute to Customer and Internal Audits as the Supplier Quality Assurance representative.
Regularly communicate with suppliers to address concerns and foster an environment for continuous improvement.
Contribute to Quality matters as part of Requests for Information/Requests for Quotation.
Assist in the development of the Quality Organization through training and coaching initiatives.
Your Story
Relevant experience in the field of Quality and Continuous Improvement.
Education: BSc/MSc in Engineering or a similar relevant discipline preferred.
Knowledge of standards such as EN9100, ECSS, NASA, and MIL.
Experience with manufacturing and production processes and engineering principles.
Ability to quickly understand and analyze technical products/systems and their functions.
High level of theoretical skills in relevant fields with practical coaching ability.
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and German.
Proficient in MS Office applications.
Experience in applying Quality preventive methodologies (5Why, Ishikawa Fishbone, etc.).
Additional languages (German, French, Swedish) beyond English are a strong asset.
Experience in other Space companies is a plus.
