Position Overview
As a Supervisor - Module / Engine Cell (Assembly/Disassembly), you will be assigned to the New Engines organization, acting as Supervisor within the engine shop operational organization and overseeing the Disassembly and Assembly of GTF engines. In this role, you will lead teams, manage processes, and execute projects to achieve the organization's goals and objectives.
Your Tasks
- Ensure a workplace that complies with all Safety, Health, and Environmental rules and regulations.
- Guarantee quality workmanship in accordance with all applicable SRT and airworthiness regulations.
- Assign employees to their jobs and manage vacation planning based on engine schedules while monitoring labor efficiency.
- Organize inter-departmental support to ensure optimal performance as well as the provision of necessary tools, equipment, and work documentation.
- Proactively manage human resources to ensure skill availability meets demand.
- Identify and focus on training and development needs within the department.
- Promote Continuous Improvements by applying Lean principles to achieve organizational targets.
- Manage and enhance related processes to meet key performance indicators (KPI).
- Cultivate a performance culture through regular target setting and structured follow-ups with all employees.
- Implement the performance management process (PMP) while providing leadership focused on employee motivation.
Your Profile
- 4 years of technical apprenticeship.
- Technical education is required.
- Operational and managerial experience in the aviation industry.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage manpower and resources.
- Proficient in communicating issues to management with suggested solutions.
- Working knowledge of health, safety, and quality procedures at the required level.
- Strong command of verbal and written English (Level C1).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Positive attitude and solution-oriented approach.
- High degree of customer focus, both internal and external.
- Excellent communication skills with a capacity for teamwork and management.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Willingness to work in two shifts.
