Position: Supervisor - New Engines Kitting

As a Supervisor - New Engines Kitting, you will be responsible for the development, implementation, and management of an effective team. You will advise on matters of safety, quality, delivery, and cost while communicating and coordinating with internal and external organizations as appropriate. The New Engines Kitting team will be responsible for collecting and controlling the required material for engine assembly (LEAP & GTF). Material will be stored in dedicated kit carts, and the ERP system will be updated accordingly by the kitting team. The organization of the kitting area must ensure optimization of space allocation and compliance with SR Technics standards.

Your Tasks

  • Promote a positive Safety Culture and ensure that Safety and Quality policies are communicated, promoted, and implemented within the organization.
  • Ensure that all elements of the Safety Management System (SMS) are properly implemented, maintained, and continuously improved by fulfilling all SMS-related duties and responsibilities as defined in the SMS Manual.
  • Assign employees to their jobs and skills, maintain vacation planning in accordance with engine planning and monitor labor efficiency.
  • Execute and promote Continuous Improvements applying Lean principles to achieve all targets.
  • Define, manage, and improve related processes to achieve key performance indicators (KPI) and report them to management regularly.
  • Drive a performance culture through periodic target setting and regular structured follow-up with all employees. Apply the performance management process (PMP) and provide leadership with a focus on employee motivation.

Your Profile

  • Over 5 years of professional experience with significant understanding of operational activities related to delivering a specific service, preferably in the MRO industry.
  • A technical background or technical education.
  • Experience in a leadership position with profound knowledge of function-related processes and a proven ability for continuous improvement, as well as leading and training a team.
  • Willingness to work in a two-shift system.
  • Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
  • B2 level of English; proficiency in German is a plus.
