Position: Supervisor - Inspection GTF

As a Supervisor within the engine shop operational organization, you will be responsible for the Module and piece part inspection of GTF engines. You will ensure that the organization and processes meet all operational requirements (KPIs) in accordance with the engine services operational schedule and OEM/regulatory guidelines.

Your Tasks

  • Guarantee for all employees a workplace that meets all Safety, Health, and Environmental rules, regulations, and requirements.
  • Ensure the quality of workmanship in accordance with all applicable SRT and airworthiness authorities' rules and regulations.
  • Assure an optimized staff allocation to events and maintain a high production grade.
  • Instruct staff on any quality deviations, provide verbal reviews, address occurrences, audit findings, and customer complaints, and take appropriate actions when required.
  • Assign employees to their jobs, maintain vacation planning in accordance with engine planning, and monitor labor efficiency.
  • Organize support across SR Technics departments to ensure performance as well as tools, equipment, and work documentation.
  • Proactively manage human resources to ensure the availability of skills to meet demand.
  • Focus on training and development needs for employees and the department.
  • Execute and promote Continuous Improvements by applying Lean principles to achieve organizational targets.
  • Manage and enhance related processes to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Drive a performance culture through periodic target setting and structured follow-up with all employees.
  • Apply the performance management process (PMP) and provide leadership with a focus on employee motivation.

Your Profile

  • 4 years of technical apprenticeship.
  • Education: Technical education.
  • Operational and managerial experience in the aviation industry.
  • Proven ability to effectively manage allocated manpower and resources.
  • Capability to communicate issues to management, along with suggested solutions.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of health, safety, and quality procedures to the required level.
  • Good command of verbal and written English (level C1).
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Positive attitude and solutions-oriented.
  • High degree of customer focus, both internal and external.
  • Ability to work well in a team and manage others.
  • Proven ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Readiness for two-shift work.
