Job Summary
As a Supervisor - Inspection GTF, you will be assigned to the New Engines organization, acting as Supervisor within the engine shop operational framework, specifically overseeing the module and piece part inspection of GTF engines. You will ensure that our organization and processes meet all operational requirements (KPIs) in accordance with the engine services operational schedule and OEM/regulatory guidelines.
Your Tasks
- Ensure all employees work in a safe environment that meets all Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations and requirements.
- Maintain quality of workmanship in compliance with all applicable SRT and airworthiness rules and regulations.
- Optimize staff allocation and maintain a high production rate.
- Instruct staff on quality deviations, conduct verbal reviews, address audit findings, and manage customer complaints as necessary.
- Assign employee roles, manage vacation planning, and monitor labor efficiency.
- Coordinate support across SR Technics departments to assure performance and the availability of tools, equipment, and work documentation.
- Actively manage human resources to ensure skill availability meets demand.
- Focus on the training and development needs of employees and the department.
- Execute and promote continuous improvements in applying lean principles to achieve organizational targets.
- Manage and improve related processes to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Drive a performance culture through periodic target setting and regular structured follow-ups with all employees.
- Apply the performance management process (PMP) with a focus on employee motivation.
Your Profile
- 4 Years technical apprenticeship with a strong technical education background.
- Operational and managerial experience in the aviation industry.
- Proven ability to effectively manage allocated manpower and resources.
- Demonstrated capability to communicate issues to management along with suggested solutions.
- Working knowledge of health, safety, and quality procedures at the required level.
- Good command of verbal and written English (level C1).
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Possess a positive attitude and be solutions-oriented.
- High degree of customer focus, both internal and external.
- Excellent communication skills with team-oriented working capability.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Willingness to work in two shifts.
