About the Role

The Director of Strategy plays a crucial role in shaping Sonova’s global strategic direction and leads the development of the group's long-term strategy. As Sonova embarks on an exciting journey to define our 5–10-year strategy, our ambition is to become a true disruptor in the hearing care industry. To facilitate this transformation, we are building a robust internal consulting and strategy capability that will significantly influence the Group’s future trajectory and uncover new growth opportunities. Key Responsibilities

• Develop corporate strategies and strategic plans that align with Sonova's Senior Leadership team.
• Support the Senior Leadership team in making long-term strategic decisions.
• Drive strategy development at the Group level and participate in shaping the Group’s business field portfolios, including new business fields and a pipeline of potential M&A targets.
• Plan and oversee the execution of the Corporate Strategy, including strategies for acquisitions/divestitures and strategic business alliances.
• Drive new market initiatives and business opportunities in both new and existing markets.
• Assist leaders in defining and implementing a prioritized roadmap encompassing capabilities, processes, and tools to achieve defined goals.
• Analyze markets, perform value chain and industry analysis to identify attractive spaces and critical competitive advantages.
• Contribute to the refinement of corporate templates for strategic analyses.
• Collaborate with functional owners to achieve Strategic Plan objectives and KPIs related to group priorities.
• Proactively lead problem-solving processes to address root causes and develop countermeasures for growth plans and transactional performance issues.

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking a strategic thinker with exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will be adept at translating complex insights into clear, actionable recommendations and will drive significant impact across our global business. Key qualifications include:

• 3–6 years of experience in strategy consulting or corporate strategy, preferably with a top-tier firm or within a global organization.
• Proven ability to structure, analyze, and synthesize complex data and business insights.
• Strong business acumen and the capability to connect strategic thinking with execution.
• Excellent communication skills to craft compelling narratives and influence senior stakeholders.
• A collaborative mindset with the ability to lead cross-functional projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Excel, data visualization, and presentation tools (e.g. PowerPoint).
