Roles & Responsibilities
Strategic Account Management is integral to the future business strategy of Johnson & Johnson. It defines how we will approach the market as a Surgery organization and will be critical to our growth plans. By leveraging this approach with our non-clinical customers, we aim to demonstrate the long-term value of partnering with Johnson & Johnson and, most importantly, our impact on patient care.
- Report to the Lead of Strategic Account Management for Surgery.
- Develop mutually beneficial long-term partnerships with clinical and non-clinical partners across designated key accounts.
- Collaborate with Business Units to devise account strategies aimed at driving profitable sales and market share growth within hospitals, hospital groups, and group purchasing organizations.
- Coordinate with the clinical team to support the proposal development process, presenting opportunities and risks to relevant management levels.
- Lead negotiations for commercial agreements and oversee their execution across care centers, in collaboration with various shared functions (Pricing, Services & Solutions, HEMA, etc.).
- Act as the representative of Johnson & Johnson Surgery for commercial partners within strategic accounts.
Qualifications
- A Master’s degree in Business Administration or a relevant field is advantageous.
- Several years of clinical experience in a Sales Manager or Key Account Manager role, with a demonstrated ability to manage non-clinical partnerships.
- In-depth understanding of the healthcare market and the local regulatory/policy environment; adept at identifying both short-term and long-term factors that impact business.
- Experience in contract negotiations and deal structuring.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills in German, with strong English proficiency; proficiency in a second official language is preferred.
- French language skills are a plus.
- Strong negotiation skills, high self-confidence, courage, and conviction.
- Analytical and strategic thinker with solid business acumen.
- Project management capabilities, with the ability to lead complex initiatives involving multiple internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong team spirit and a collaborative mindset.
