Primary Responsibilities

Skills & Requirements

• Active Pharmacy Technician registration in good standing.
• Hands-on sterile compounding experience.
• Strong knowledge of aseptic technique and cleanroom practices.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed procedures.
• Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous 503B sterile compounding experience.
• Experience within hospital, oncology, infusion, or pharmaceutical manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of USP <797>, USP <800>, cGMP, and FDA requirements.
• PTCB certification.

Responsibilities of the Sterile Compound Technician

• Prepare, weigh, mix, and compound sterile pharmaceutical products using approved procedures.
• Work within controlled cleanroom environments, including ISO 5 and ISO 7 areas.
• Follow aseptic technique, USP <797>, cGMP, FDA, and internal quality requirements.
• Operate and monitor compounding and filling equipment.
• Complete batch records, manufacturing documentation, and inventory records accurately.
• Inspect materials, equipment, and finished preparations to ensure quality standards are maintained.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and follow established cleaning procedures.
• Manage product inventory, supplies, and materials.
• Work efficiently and accurately within production timelines and volume requirements.
• Follow all standard operating procedures and safety requirements.

Compensation

$20 to $24 per hour, depending on experience.
