Stakeholder Engagement Specialist
Roche Switzerland bridges the gap between pharmaceuticals and diagnostics, with key research and development functions located here. We are currently seeking a Stakeholder Engagement Specialist for our long-term client, F. Hoffmann-La Roche AG in Basel.
Background
The Stakeholder Engagement Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting the execution of a global data validation campaign associated with the collection of people data during the external partner onboarding and administration processes. This initiative ensures that all required regulatory and compliance information is complete and accurate across all external partners working with Roche. The Specialist will engage with Roche Responsible Persons (RRPs), who oversee and manage external partners such as contractors, consultants, managed services, and collaborators. This role involves tracking progress, following up on incomplete submissions, and ensuring timely completion while collaborating closely with the Project team to support the successful delivery of the initiative.
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Stakeholder Engagement & Follow-up
- Engage with RRPs responsible for managing external partners worldwide.
- Follow up with RRPs to ensure timely completion of data collection and validation, providing support for any incomplete submissions.
- Coordinate with the extended external workforce team on data changes and inquiries.
- Project Management
- Monitor and track completion and validation progress across RRPs.
- Maintain organized tracking of outreach and responses.
- Risk Identification & Escalation
- Identify potential delays or challenges affecting campaign completion.
- Escalate issues and collaborate with the Project & Campaign team as necessary, adhering to a predefined governance model.
Must Haves
- Commercial apprenticeship (EFZ - levels B, E or M); higher education is not required.
- Experience in stakeholder engagement, coordination, or operational support roles.
- Professional background in matrixed, international environments and/or medium to large corporations.
- Comfort in interacting with stakeholders and effectively driving follow-ups to ensure task completion.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a talent for motivating stakeholders.
- Intermediate project management skills, including providing structured status updates, identifying risks/issues, and proposing relevant mitigations/resolutions.
- A strong affinity for IT tools, especially in Google Workspace.
- Ability to manage challenging conversations professionally, including hesitant stakeholders.
- High motivation, independent and collaborative work ethic, with a structured, organized approach to tasks.
- Flexibility to adapt to varying needs and a solution-oriented mindset.
- Fluency in business English.
Nice to Haves
- Experience with Looker Studio.
- Language skills in German, Spanish, Chinese, or French.
