Stakeholder Engagement Specialist
Roche Switzerland bridges the gap between pharmaceuticals and diagnostics, with crucial research and development functions located in Basel. We are seeking a passionate and driven Stakeholder Engagement Specialist to join our long-term client, F. Hoffmann-La Roche AG.
Background:
The Stakeholder Engagement Specialist will play a pivotal role in executing a global data validation campaign related to the collection of people data during the external partner onboarding and administration processes. This initiative is essential to ensure that all regulatory and compliance information is both complete and accurate for Roche's external partners. You will engage with Roche Responsible Persons (RRPs)—employees managing external partners—supporting them throughout the validation campaign by tracking progress, following up on incomplete submissions, and facilitating timely completion. Collaboration with the Project team is vital for the successful delivery of the initiative.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Stakeholder Engagement & Follow-up
- Engage with RRPs worldwide who manage external partners
- Follow up with RRPs to ensure the completion of data collection and validation
- Coordinate with the extended external workforce team on data changes and inquiries
- Project Management
- Monitor and track completion and validation progress across RRPs
- Maintain structured tracking of outreach and responses
- Risk Identification & Escalation
- Identify any delays or challenges affecting campaign completion
- Escalate issues and align with the Project & Campaign team as needed
Must Haves:
- Commercial apprenticeship (EFZ - levels B, E or M); higher education not required
- Experience in stakeholder engagement, coordination, or operational support roles
- Work experience in matrixed, international environments and/or medium to large corporations
- Comfortable engaging with stakeholders and driving follow-ups to ensure task completion
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate stakeholders
- Intermediate project management skills with a structured approach to regular status updates
- Affinity for IT tools, particularly experience with Google Workspace
- Able to handle challenging conversations professionally, even with hesitant stakeholders
- High motivation and a collaborative team-oriented approach
- Flexibility to adapt to diverse needs with a pragmatic, solution-oriented mindset
- Fluency in business English
Nice to Haves:
- Experience with Looker Studio
- Language skills in German, Spanish, Chinese, or French
