Join the FIA as a Sport Officials & International Series Project Manager

Become a vital part of the FIA and help drive the global coordination and regulation of international motorsport series. As the Sport Officials & International Series Project Manager, you will play a key role in shaping the administrative and regulatory frameworks that govern competitions and officials worldwide.

Working at the intersection of FIA departments, National Sporting Authorities (ASNs), and world-class officials, you will uphold the highest standards of governance while advocating for process innovation and regulatory oversight. You will join an experienced team dedicated to the growth and professional development of the global motorsport community.

Key Responsibilities

Coordination, Oversight & Officials Management

  • Direct the end-to-end application and validation process for FIA-sanctioned International Series, Zone, and National Championships, coordinating with FIA Sport Departments.
  • Act as the primary contact for ASNs regarding the International Calendar Platform (ICP) and serve as a central resource for FIA Clubs related to Officials' administration, training, and appointments.
  • Lead the coordination of Officials’ availability, strategically mapping personnel against championships while managing communication between Officials and Championship managers.

Administrative Management & IT Administration

  • Oversee the submission and evaluation of series dossiers, including sporting and technical documents, and supervise the reporting workflow for the World Motor Sport Council (WMSC).
  • Serve as the Lead IT Administrator for the ICP and legacy platforms, ensuring data integrity for competitions, official status updates, and calendar entries.
  • Coordinate system updates and resolve technical issues with the IT department to ensure seamless platform performance.

Financial Coordination & Compliance

  • Manage the financial lifecycle of international series, including fee coordination with Accounting, timely invoicing for Parent and Host ASNs, and contributing to annual budgeting.
  • Ensure compliance with Appendix P and ISC regulations, leading conflict resolution and clarifying regulatory issues in collaboration with Legal Sport.
  • Monitor global motorsport activity to identify unregistered series that meet FIA criteria.

Improvement, Development & Project Management

  • Propose and implement strategic enhancements to monitoring systems and integrate new FIA databases for Driver Licenses and Historic Racing (HTP).
  • Conduct site visits and evaluations to identify process efficiencies and strengthen internal regulatory control proposals.
  • Support project planning and timelines, develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and implement digital tools for improved management of Officials.

Candidate Profile

  • University degree in Sports Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in motorsport administration.
  • In-depth knowledge of the FIA International Sporting Code (ISC) and the global motorsport ecosystem.
  • Proficient in administrative platforms, workflow automation tools, and data management systems.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to meet strict deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills in a multicultural environment, with a high level of discretion.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken) is required.
