Techfirm Engineering is currently seeking a QA/QC Specialist – Site Commissioning & Turnover to strengthen our Industrial Services team in the German-speaking part of Switzerland. What You Will Do
- Lead or support site commissioning, qualification, and turnover of equipment and systems (IQ/OQ/PQ).
- Review, approve, and maintain QA/QC documentation including protocols, reports, SOPs, and deviation records.
- Ensure GMP compliance during all commissioning and qualification activities.
- Participate in handover from Engineering/Project teams to Operations after successful commissioning.
- Conduct risk assessments and gap analyses for equipment and systems, supporting mitigation plans.
- Act as QA/QC representative during internal, client, and regulatory audits.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Operations, and Project Management to ensure alignment on timelines and deliverables.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to QA processes, site readiness, and operational excellence.
What We Are Looking For
- University degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in QA/QC, commissioning, or site turnover within pharmaceutical or biotech environments.
- Strong knowledge of GMP, cGMP, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Hands-on experience with equipment qualification, IQ/OQ/PQ, and change control processes.
- Familiarity with automation platforms, MES, PCS7, or LIMS is a plus.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
