Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to teach Spanish to academically motivated high school sophomores (ages 15-16) from various schools across the United States.
The teaching responsibilities will include:
- Delivering Spanish instruction from Spanish I to Advanced Placement (class sizes range from 2 to 6 students).
- Conducting four classes throughout the academic schedule.
- Assessing students regularly through assignments, tests, and exams.
- Communicating with the sending schools in the United States, primarily via email.
- Utilizing the curriculum provided by the home schools for each student.
Requirements
- English writing and speaking skills at a native or C2 level.
- Bachelor of Arts in Spanish teaching.
- Master's or PhD degrees are preferred but not required.
- A strong teaching background in different levels of secondary school Spanish.
- Familiarity with the US curriculum is beneficial.
- Advisory duties to 4-5 students.
- Outdoor experience, such as hiking, climbing, biking, and skiing, is preferred but not required.
