Key Responsibilities
- Prepare a wide range of Tandoori dishes to perfection.
- Expertly create sauces and prepare curries.
- Utilize the Tandoor (Indian style clay oven) for baking breads and cooking meats.
- Plan and direct food preparation and cooking activities to ensure efficiency in the kitchen.
- Focus on the garnishing and presentation of dishes while exploring new cooking techniques.
- Plan menus and maintain quality of food along with exact portion control.
- Proficiently use Tandoori-BBQ specialty equipment.
- Develop new menu options to reflect seasonal changes and customer preferences.
- Assist in the preparation and planning of meal designs.
- Recruit and train new kitchen employees to meet established restaurant and kitchen standards.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a well-reputed restaurant or hotel.
- Qualified with a diploma or degree in Hospitality (preferred).
- A commitment to work for a minimum of two years at our restaurants in Switzerland is expected.
