Key Responsibilities
- Specialize in preparing a variety of tandoori items.
- Prepare sauces and curry dishes with precision.
- Skilled in making breads and meats in a tandoor (Indian style clay oven).
- Plan and direct food preparation and cooking activities efficiently.
- Focus on garnishing and presentation of food, while incorporating new cooking techniques.
- Plan menus, ensuring the quality of food and maintaining portion control.
- Proficient with tandoori-BBQ specialty equipment.
- Develop new menu options reflecting seasonal changes and customer demand.
- Assist in the preparation and planning of meal designs.
- Recruit and train new kitchen employees to uphold restaurant and kitchen standards.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a well-reputed restaurant or hotel.
- Qualified with a diploma or degree in Hospitality preferred.
- A commitment to work for a minimum of two years at our restaurant in Switzerland is expected.
