Key Responsibilities

  • Specialize in preparing a variety of tandoori items.
  • Prepare sauces and curries to complement the tandoori dishes.
  • Utilize the Tandoor, an Indian-style clay oven, for baking breads and cooking meats.
  • Plan and oversee food preparation and cooking activities.
  • Enhance the presentation of food through garnishing and modern cooking techniques.
  • Develop menus ensuring quality of food and effective portion control.
  • Demonstrate proficiency with Tandoori-BBQ specialty equipment.
  • Innovate new menu options based on seasonal changes and customer preferences.
  • Assist in meal design and preparation planning.
  • Recruit and train new kitchen staff to maintain high restaurant and kitchen standards.

Candidate Profile

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a reputable restaurant or hotel.
  • Preferred qualifications include a diploma or degree in Hospitality.
  • A commitment to work for a minimum of two years at our restaurant in Switzerland is expected.
