Key Responsibilities
- Specialize in preparing tandoori items.
- Prepare sauces and curries with expertise.
- Master the art of making breads and meats in a Tandoor (Indian clay oven).
- Plan and oversee food preparation and cooking activities.
- Focus on garnishing, food presentation, and incorporating new cooking techniques.
- Plan menus, ensuring food quality and portion control.
- Be proficient with Tandoori-BBQ specialty equipment.
- Develop new menu options based on seasonal changes and customer preferences.
- Assist with the preparation and planning of meal designs.
- Recruit and train new kitchen personnel to uphold restaurant and kitchen standards.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a reputable restaurant or hotel.
- Qualified with a diploma or degree in Hospitality (preferred).
- Commitment to working for a minimum of two years at our restaurants in Switzerland.
- Sound knowledge of Indian cuisine.
