Key Responsibilities
- Specialize in preparing Tandoori items.
- Prepare sauces and curry dishes.
- Handle the preparation of breads and meats in the Tandoor (Indian-style clay oven).
- Plan and direct food preparation and cooking activities.
- Ensure proper garnishing and presentation of food, utilizing new cooking techniques.
- Plan menus and ensure quality of food as well as portion control.
- Proficiently operate Tandoori-BBQ specialty equipment.
- Develop innovative menu options based on seasonal changes and customer demand.
- Assist in the preparation and planning of meal designs.
- Recruit and train new kitchen staff to meet restaurant and kitchen standards.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a well-reputed restaurant or hotel.
- Qualified with a diploma or degree in Hospitality (preferred).
- A commitment to work for a minimum of two years in our restaurants in Switzerland is expected.
- Sound knowledge of Tandoori cooking techniques and ingredients.
