Key Responsibilities
- Specialize in preparing a variety of tandoori items.
- Demonstrate the ability to craft flavorful sauces and curries.
- Prepare breads and meats utilizing the Tandoor (Indian-style clay oven).
- Plan and oversee food preparation and cooking activities.
- Focus on garnishing and presentation techniques while exploring new cooking methods.
- Develop and plan menus, ensuring food quality and portion control.
- Be proficient with Tandoori-BBQ specialty equipment.
- Innovate new menu options based on seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
- Assist in meal design preparation and planning.
- Recruit and train new kitchen staff to uphold restaurant and kitchen standards.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a reputable restaurant or hotel.
- Qualifications preferably include a diploma or degree in Hospitality.
- Commitment to work with us for a minimum of two years in Switzerland is expected.
- Solid knowledge of Indian cuisine and culinary techniques.
