Are you skilled in creating authentic Tandoori dishes? Do you have a passion for preparing the best Tandoori chicken?

Responsibilities

  • Specialize in preparing a variety of tandoori items.
  • Prepare high-quality sauces and curries.
  • Master the art of cooking breads and meats in a Tandoor, the traditional Indian clay oven.
  • Plan and oversee all food preparation and cooking activities.
  • Focus on the garnishing and presentation of dishes, while incorporating new cooking techniques.
  • Develop menus while ensuring food quality and portion control.
  • Utilize Tandoori-BBQ specialty equipment proficiently.
  • Create new menu options based on seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
  • Assist in the planning and preparation of meal designs.
  • Recruit and train new kitchen staff to meet restaurant standards.

Candidate Profile

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a reputable restaurant or hotel.
  • Qualified candidates should preferably hold a diploma or degree in Hospitality.
  • A commitment to work for a minimum of two years at our restaurants in Switzerland is expected.
  • Sound knowledge of traditional Indian culinary techniques.
