Key Responsibilities
- Specialize in preparing a variety of tandoori items.
- Ability to create sauces and prepare curries.
- Expertly prepare breads and meats in the Tandoor (Indian-style clay oven).
- Plan and direct food preparation and cooking activities.
- Ensure garnishing and presentation of food meets high standards, along with utilizing new cooking techniques.
- Plan menus while ensuring quality of food and adherence to portion control.
- Proficiently operate Tandoori-BBQ specialty equipment.
- Develop new menu options based on seasonal changes and customer demand.
- Assist with the preparation and planning of meal designs.
- Recruit and train new kitchen employees to uphold restaurant and kitchen standards.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a well-reputed restaurant or hotel.
- Qualified, preferably with a diploma or degree in Hospitality.
- Commitment to work for a minimum of two years at our restaurant in Switzerland is expected.
