Responsibilities

As a Tandoori Specialist, your duties will include:

  • Specializing in the preparation of Tandoori items.
  • Possessing the ability to prepare sauces and curry dishes.
  • Expertly preparing breads and meats in the Tandoor (Indian style clay oven).
  • Planning and directing food preparation and cooking activities.
  • Enhancing the garnishing and presentation of food while incorporating new cooking techniques.
  • Planning menus and ensuring food quality and portion control.
  • Being proficient with Tandoori-BBQ specialty equipment.
  • Developing new menu options based on seasonal changes and customer preferences.
  • Assisting with the preparation and planning of meal designs.
  • Recruiting and training new kitchen staff to meet restaurant and kitchen standards.

Candidate Profile

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a well-reputed restaurant or hotel.
  • Qualified with a diploma or degree in Hospitality (preferred).
  • A commitment to work for a minimum of two years at our restaurant locations in Switzerland is expected.
