Responsibilities
As a Tandoori Specialist, your duties will include:
- Specializing in the preparation of Tandoori items.
- Possessing the ability to prepare sauces and curry dishes.
- Expertly preparing breads and meats in the Tandoor (Indian style clay oven).
- Planning and directing food preparation and cooking activities.
- Enhancing the garnishing and presentation of food while incorporating new cooking techniques.
- Planning menus and ensuring food quality and portion control.
- Being proficient with Tandoori-BBQ specialty equipment.
- Developing new menu options based on seasonal changes and customer preferences.
- Assisting with the preparation and planning of meal designs.
- Recruiting and training new kitchen staff to meet restaurant and kitchen standards.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a well-reputed restaurant or hotel.
- Qualified with a diploma or degree in Hospitality (preferred).
- A commitment to work for a minimum of two years at our restaurant locations in Switzerland is expected.
