Solution Architect (Gov.UK) - 6 months + extension - Remote
On behalf of one of our key partners, RED is pleased to offer a new opportunity for a Solution Architect with Gov.UK experience to join their team on an initial 6-month contract, with the potential for extension. This remote position may require occasional on-site work in London.
Role Overview
The selected candidate will focus on front-end/UI solution delivery and will be responsible for the following:
- Own the end-to-end solution architecture for the programme, providing a unified and coherent design across multiple Agile Release Trains (ARTs) and delivery teams.
- Define and maintain the solution vision, solution intent, architecture runway, and target/transition state architectures.
- Act as Solution Architect within a SAFe (or equivalent scaled agile) operating model, collaborating with Release Train Engineers, System Architects, Product Management, and Solution Management.
Specific Skills and Experience Required
- 5+ years of IT Architecture experience.
- Strong front-end development and architecture experience, preferably using Scala.
- Experience designing for or developing government/public sector platforms.
- Experience specifically with Gov.UK is an advantage.
- Excellent English communication skills.
