To support our ambitions outlined in the IKEA Supply Strategy, we are modernizing our operations, establishing a new foundational digital core to serve IKEA for many years ahead. We have initiated the Order & Finance Platform (OFP) Programme, identified as a key initiative within the IKEA Digital Roadmap and a significant investment in IKEA Supply over the coming years. This programme will generate benefits throughout the entire IKEA value chain, from our suppliers to our retailers. This is a unique opportunity to be involved in a greenfield SAP S/4 HANA implementation project and to introduce an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solution for the first time in our operations.

Job Description

As the SAP S4 Order to Cash Solution Architect, you will be at the forefront of SAP solution design, implementation, and maintenance within the Order to Cash workstream. Your role requires close collaboration with a team of Business Analysts, External Consultants, Developers, Security and Data Privacy teams, and Data Specialists to ensure that SAP S/4 delivery and maintenance aligns with standards while maintaining the high degree of automation and specialization within our global value chain.

In this capacity, your responsibilities will include:

• Overseeing the solution architecture, including techno-functional requirements, across Order to Cash (SAP S/4 SD, LE) processes, covering relevant Master Data and transactions through to successful Month-End closing.
• Collaborating intensively with Product/Process Owners and Lead Solution Architects to evaluate and align design changes from an application maintenance perspective.
• Acting as the primary point of contact for business process owners and super users to ensure a seamless user experience within the live environment across the entire value chain, including:
• Enhancements within the SAP ecosystem and Software Development (DevSecOps) requirements to support related capabilities.
• Managing standard changes as part of releases per configuration and design guidelines, ensuring retrofitting across the N+1 landscape and alignment with the SAP ecosystem (Signavio, Solution Manager, MDG, GRC, etc.).
• Assisting in the analysis of production issues (Incident & Problem Management) and implementing solutions in collaboration with the DevSecOps team, including internal and external members.
• Supporting testing automation by leveraging Solution Manager-focused builds and UiPath.
• Learning and assisting with non-SAP applications critical to the Finance business processes within the overall OFP ecosystem.
• Designing and maintaining Operational Reporting and embedded Analytics solutions.
• Ensuring adherence to operational governance and SLAs while identifying dependencies, testing requirements, service orchestration, and business impact implications.
• Working alongside cross-functional scrum teams to guide SAP S/4 HANA configuration, necessitating hands-on SAP S/4 HANA and/or ECC configuration experience with a proven record in solving complex SAP implementation and maintenance challenges.
• Exhibiting cross-functional alignment, with an understanding of end-to-end processes and their interconnections.
• Proactively communicating status updates, escalating issues, and managing timelines and action items.
• Mitigating risks related to transformational architecture challenges while ensuring the ongoing operation of the business.

You will report to our SAP Platform Area Manager within IKEA Supply and collaborate closely with the programme management for the Order and Finance Program.

• An analytical mindset with keen attention to detail, coupled with the ability to see the larger context and quickly build rapport with distributed teams.
• Strong motivation and effective communication skills, with an ability to present complex technological challenges in clear terms to stakeholders to gain commitment.
