To realize our ambitions in the IKEA Supply Strategy, we have initiated the Order & Finance Platform (OFP) Programme, a key component of our digital roadmap. This program represents one of the largest digital investments within IKEA Supply in the coming years. It aims to create significant benefits across the entire IKEA value chain, from suppliers to retailers. **This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a greenfield SAP S/4 HANA implementation and introduce an Enterprise Resource Planning solution (ERP) for the first time to our business.**

Job Description

As the SAP S4 Order to Cash Solution Architect, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of SAP solutions within our Order to Cash workstream. You will collaborate closely with a team of Business Analysts, External Consultants, Developers, Security and Data Privacy teams, and Data Specialists to ensure adherence to standards while maintaining a high degree of automation and specialization within our global value chain.

In this role, you will be:

• Accountable for the solution architecture, including techno-functional requirements, across the Order to Cash (SAP S/4 SD, LE) processes.
• Working closely with Product/Process Owners and Lead Solution Architects to evaluate and align design changes from an application maintenance perspective.
• Serving as a frontline contact for business process owners and super users, ensuring a seamless platform experience throughout the value chain, including:
  • Enhancements within the SAP ecosystem and Software Development (DevSecOps) requirements.
  • Standard and normal changes during releases, ensuring alignment with configuration and design guidelines.
  • Supporting the analysis of productive issues and implementing resolutions in collaboration with the DevSecOps team.
  • Leveraging testing automation tools, focusing on solution manager builds and UiPath.
  • Learning and supporting non-SAP applications critical to Finance business processes.
  • Designing and maintaining operational reporting and embedded analytics solutions.
• Adhering to operational governance and SLAs to ensure desired outcomes while identifying dependencies and testing requirements.
• Collaborating with cross-functional scrum teams to guide SAP S/4 Hana configuration, leveraging hands-on configuration experience.
• Facilitating cross-functional alignments to explain end-to-end processes and their interconnections.
• Proactively communicating status updates, managing timelines, and escalating issues.
• Identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies for transformational architecture challenges.

You will report to our SAP Platform Area Manager in IKEA Supply while closely collaborating with the program management for the Order and Finance Program.

Qualifications

We seek an individual passionate about creating value through effective SAP solution architecture while driving the growth of IKEA as a business through relationship-building and networking.

To succeed in this role, you should be a strong team player with deep techno-functional expertise who can inspire others toward clear objectives. We are looking for a visionary, pragmatic, and adaptable candidate who is not afraid to roll up their sleeves and demonstrate their knowledge. Curiosity and the ability to build trustworthy relationships within the Supply Data & Technology community are essential.

Ideally, you have at least 2-3 end-to-end SAP implementation projects, contributing as a solution architect, business analyst, or functional consultant in similar supply chain or retail industries. You possess strong analytical skills, an eye for detail, and can relate to the bigger picture, quickly establishing rapport with distributed team members.

Excellent communication skills are vital, enabling you to present complex technology challenges in an understandable manner to stakeholders and garner commitment from all parties involved.
