SOFTWARE SOLUTION ENGINEER
Positioned within our Information Technology Department – Software Architecture team, you will be a key driver in the development of innovative products in the biotech sector. Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing state-of-the-art standards for either standalone software or entire systems, adhering to best practices based on the requirements provided.
- Leading the conceptual development of Securecell’s new disruptive products and following up with other innovative solutions.
- Collaborating with internal and external specialist teams using a co-development approach to ensure company-wide success.
- Defining standards for methodologies and development approaches, as well as creating the corresponding documentation.
YOUR PROFILE
- Completed studies in engineering, preferably IT or computer science (FH / Uni / ETH).
- At least three years of experience in software development.
- Strong expertise in software development, particularly with enterprise-grade applications, complemented by a hands-on mindset.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and translate architectural decisions into technical solutions.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with a capacity to navigate complexity in a large technical stack.
- Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD tools, automation frameworks, and infrastructure-as-code.
- Proficiency in Linux environments, particularly LTS distributions and Oracle Linux (preferred but open to alternatives).
- Experience working with enterprise databases, particularly Oracle DB and PostgreSQL.
- Solid understanding of security best practices, compliance, and secure coding methodologies.
- While industry experience in MedTech/Biotech is not mandatory, a strong interest and awareness of the regulated environment is essential.
- Experience in (bio)process technology is a plus, although not a prerequisite.
- A valid work permit is required, and only applications matching the job profile will be considered.
