SOFTWARE SOLUTION ENGINEER

Join our Information Technology Department – Software Architecture team as a key driver in further developing innovative products within the biotech sector. In this role, you will design state-of-the-art standards for standalone software or entire systems, adhering to best practices. Initially, you will be entrusted with the conceptual development of Securecell’s new disruptive product, followed by other projects. You will provide guidance to both internal and external specialist teams through a co-development approach, making decisions that reflect the success of the entire company. Additionally, you will establish standards for methodologies and development approaches, while creating the corresponding documentation.

YOUR PROFILE

• Completed studies (FH/Uni/ETH) in engineering, preferably in IT/computer science.
• At least three years of experience in software development.
• Strong expertise in software development, specifically in enterprise-grade applications. A hands-on mindset is essential.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and translate architectural decisions into technical solutions.
• Strong problem-solving skills, capable of navigating complexity within a large technical stack.
• Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD tools, automation frameworks, and infrastructure-as-code.
• Proficiency in Linux environments, particularly with LTS distributions and Oracle Linux (preferred but open to alternatives).
• Experience working with enterprise databases, especially Oracle DB and PostgreSQL.
• Solid understanding of security best practices, compliance, and secure coding methodologies.
• While industry experience in MedTech/Biotech is not mandatory, a strong interest and awareness of the regulated environment are essential.
• Experience in (bio)process technology is a plus, though not a prerequisite.
• A valid work permit is required; only direct applications will be considered (no agencies).
