SOFTWARE SOLUTION ENGINEER

Join our Information Technology Department – Software Architecture team as a Software Solution Engineer. As part of our development team, you will be a key driver in the innovation and continuous development of cutting-edge products in the biotech sector. Initially, you will be entrusted with the conceptual development of Securecell’s new groundbreaking product, with additional projects to follow. You will collaborate with both internal and external specialist teams in a co-development approach, making strategic decisions that contribute to the overall success of the company. Your responsibilities will include defining standards for methodologies, development approaches, and creating the necessary documentation.

YOUR PROFILE

• Completed studies (FH / Uni / ETH) in engineering, preferably in IT or computer science.
• At least three years of experience in software development.
• Strong expertise in software development, especially in enterprise-grade applications, with a hands-on mindset.
• Ability to work collaboratively across teams and translate architectural decisions into technical solutions.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills, with a capability to navigate complexity in a large technical stack.
• Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD tools, automation frameworks, and infrastructure as code.
• Proficiency in Linux environments, particularly with LTS distributions and Oracle Linux (preferred, but open to alternatives).
• Experience working with enterprise databases, particularly Oracle DB and PostgreSQL.
• Solid understanding of security best practices, compliance, and secure coding methodologies.
• Industry experience in MedTech/Biotech is not mandatory, though a strong interest and awareness of the regulated environment are essential.
• Experience in (bio)process technology is a plus, but not a prerequisite.
• A valid work permit is required; only applications matching the job profile will be considered.
