SOFTWARE SOLUTION ENGINEER

Join our Information Technology Department – Software Architecture team, where you will play a pivotal role as a key driver in the development of innovative products in the biotech area. You will be responsible for transforming requirements into state-of-the-art standards for standalone software or comprehensive systems, adhering to best practices. Initially, you will lead the conceptual development of Securecell’s new disruptive product, with subsequent projects to follow. Your role will involve advising internal and external specialist teams in a co-development approach and making strategic decisions that consider the overall success of the company. Furthermore, you will define standards for methodologies and development approaches, as well as create the necessary documentation.

YOUR PROFILE

• Completed studies (FH / Uni / ETH) in engineering, preferably in IT or computer science.
• At least three years of experience in software development.
• Strong expertise in software development, particularly in enterprise-grade applications. A hands-on mindset is essential.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and translate architectural decisions into technical solutions.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the capability to navigate complexity within a large technical stack.
• Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD tools, automation frameworks, and infrastructure-as-code.
• Proficiency in Linux environments, especially with LTS distributions and Oracle Linux (preferred but open to alternatives).
• Experience working with enterprise databases, particularly Oracle DB and PostgreSQL.
• Solid understanding of security best practices, compliance, and secure coding methodologies.
• While industry experience in Medtech/Biotech is not mandatory, a strong interest in and awareness of the regulated environment is essential.
• Experience in (bio)process technology is a plus but not a prerequisite.
• A valid work permit is required, and only applications matching the job profile will be considered.
