The Role

As a Software Integration Engineer, you will design the most effective technical architecture to implement Unblu solutions within the clients’ environments, offering both cloud and on-premises options.

Your role will include collaborating closely with clients’ technicians to guide them in delivering, deploying, and integrating Unblu into their systems. You will assist with consulting, developing integrations, and planning deliveries. Your expertise in Kubernetes will help clients’ DevOps teams deploy Unblu seamlessly in their premises.

The Unblu products come equipped with APIs tailored to fulfill even the most unique client requirements. Utilizing your web development skills, you will integrate the Unblu JS API into clients’ e-banking systems. Your Java development capabilities will allow you to create backend middleware that connects the Unblu Web API with ChatBots, messaging systems, CRMs, or archiving solutions. Additionally, your mobile development expertise will aid in integrating the Unblu mobile SDK into clients’ mobile e-banking applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical implementation of customer projects from the project definition phase to go-live, in close collaboration with the customer, architect, and project manager (Business Project Lead).
• Develop integrations for client web or mobile apps, or middleware to connect required backend systems.
• Collaborate with Unblu's product R&D teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues affecting your projects and customers or contribute to product enhancements.
• Provide customers with deliveries of the Unblu product, custom integrations, and middleware, while assisting with the integration process.
• Discuss any issues that arise during integration directly with customers and devise solutions.

Requirements

• Substantial software development experience with customer projects.
• University degree in Computer Science preferred.
• Excellent communication skills in German and English; Swiss-German is a plus.
• Advanced knowledge of web technologies: JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS.
• Proficiency in Java development; familiarity with Spring/Spring Boot is a plus.
• Understanding of network technologies, including web protocols.
• Knowledge of mobile development is beneficial.
• Strong organizational skills, adaptability, and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and Linux shell.

A Plus Will Be:

• Experience in web or backend development in customer projects.
• Client-facing consulting experience.
