The Spatial AI Lab is a dynamic part of Microsoft’s Applied Sciences Group, dedicated to developing next-generation human-computer interaction technologies through advanced AI, hardware innovation, and cutting-edge device design. Our team of scientists and engineers specializes in computer vision, multimodal AI, spatial and embodied AI, robotics, and cloud services.
We are seeking a talented software engineer to design and develop intelligent systems and experiences for emerging agents. You will collaborate with a diverse team of scientists, engineers, students, and external research partners to engage in applied research, rapid prototyping, and product development. Your work may span various areas including AI models, robotics, hardware and software integration, developer tools, data and evaluation systems, and scalable product capabilities.
As our technical focus is ever-evolving, you should be comfortable navigating ambiguity, eager to learn new technologies, and prepared to apply your strong software engineering skills across a range of research and product challenges. You may also have opportunities to collaborate with academic partners, contribute to research publications, and mentor students.

The typical base pay range for this role across Switzerland is CHF 119,200.00 - CHF 195,500.00 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for additional benefits and compensation.
