Responsibilities
As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Building and maintaining data pipelines and ETL workflows using Apache Airflow to ingest and transform data into the CMDB.
- Developing and optimizing PL/SQL and NoSQL solutions for efficient data processing, storage, and retrieval.
- Integrating diverse data sources into the CMDB using MuleSoft and other integration tools.
- Designing inventory data models based on CIM and ensuring accurate, reconciled configuration data across systems.
- Troubleshooting data issues, ensuring integrity, and documenting models, processes, and configurations.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess:
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering, data modeling (SQL/Oracle & NoSQL/MongoDB), and scripting with Python or Perl.
- Proven experience with Apache Airflow and ETL pipeline development.
- Experience in integrating data using Salesforce MuleSoft and working with CMDB systems like Micro Focus Asset Manager or ServiceNow.
- A solid understanding of SACM principles and the Common Information Model (CIM) from DMTF.org.
